Natural Treatment for Candida

Natural Treatment for Candida

There are several areas that need to be examined and addressed in order to properly treat the underlying causes of Candida overgrowth:

Diet

The most important dietary factors are a high intake of sugar, milk, and other dairy products; foods containing a high content of yeast or mold; and food allergies. Any yeast-forming foods are removed from the diet, along with any food sensitivities.

Impaired Digestion

Gastric hydrochloric acid, pancreatic enzymes, and bile all inhibit the overgrowth of C. albicans and prevent its penetration into the absorptive surfaces of the small intestine. Decreased secretion of any of these important digestive components can lead to overgrowth of C. albicans in the GI tract. Natural therapy involves stimulating the body to produce these substances through the use of homeopathics or herbs.

Enhancing Immunity

A compromised immune system leads to infection, and infection leads to damage to the immune system, further weakening resistance. To stop this vicious cycle, a comprehensive approach involving lifestyle, stress management, exercise, diet, nutritional supplementation, glandular therapy, and the use of plant-based medicines is used.

Promoting Detoxification

Patients with chronic candidiasis usually exhibit multiple chemical sensitivities and allergies, an indicator that detoxification reactions are stressed. Therefore their liver function must be supported. In fact, improving the health of the liver and promoting detoxification may be one of the most critical factors in the successful treatment of candidiasis.

Promoting Elimination

In addition to directly supporting liver function, proper detoxification also involves promoting proper elimination. A diet that focuses on high-fiber plant foods is usually sufficient to promote proper elimination by supplying an ample amount of dietary fiber.

Lastly, if needed, natural anti-yeast agents are used.

Candida Gut Repair Program

The program is individualized for each person, but here is a general outline:

  • Week 1 Terrain Balancing + Inflammation Modulation
  • Weeks 2 to 6 Regeneration and repopulation of intestinal mucosa while supporting digestion
  • Week 6 up to 4 months as needed Maintenance program

Four visits are included in the program: an initial 90 minute visit, a secondary 60 minute visit (which includes a complete physical examination) and two follow-up 30 minute visits.

Please note that laboratory testing and supplements are not included in the price as these will depend on individual requirements. Also, depending on how long you have been suffering from Candida overgrowth treatment may require more than four visits.
