Naturopathic Medicine

A Health-Based Approach

innate-healingNaturopathic medicine is a distinct primary health care system that blends modern scientific knowledge with traditional and natural forms of medicine. Naturopathic medicine is the art and science of disease diagnosis, treatment and prevention using natural therapies including botanical medicine, clinical nutrition, hydrotherapy, homeopathy, Asian medicine / acupuncture, and lifestyle counselling.

Holistic care places the focus on health, rather than disease. It treats the whole, unique person rather than simply the symptoms the person presents with.

To the uninformed, naturopathic medicine, as well as the entire concept of natural medicine, appears to be a fad that will soon pass away. To the informed, however, it is quite clear that naturopathic medicine is at the forefront of the future.
